How did you come up with your name and number?
When we first started the roller derby team, us girls were at practice talking about different derby names we were thinking of and somebody (can't remember who) said "Nicki Spitts", like Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue, and it just stuck. When I was younger I was called Nicki, I think in the sixth grade or so people started calling me Nicole, now the girls are calling me Nicki again, I like it =).
What made you first start roller derby, or how did you discover roller derby?
Kilaron's sister Jaleen told my sister about it, I didn't know anything about roller derby, and hadn't skated for a couple years but it sounded like fun!
Why do you love roller derby so much?
There are alot of reasons I love derby but I'd have to say I love all the new friends I have made. We have a fantastic group of gals on our team, of all walks of life. My sister and I have made some very close friends. I appreciate my girls very much!
How many hours per week do you practice?
2 hours 3 nights a week and then I skate a couple of hours Friday and Saturday nights at open skate.
What is your favorite drill?
I think they are all great.
What is the most challenging part of roller derby?
I think most of roller derby is pretty challenging for me! Physically and Mentally!!!!!
What are your non-derby hobbies?
Dancin' it up with my girls!!!!! Hanging out with my twin sister, momma, and little brother! Embroidering, making collages, listening to music! Gettin' crazy!!!!!........and drinkin' beer....of course....hee hee!
What’s your favorite piece of your roller derby wardrobe?
MouthGuard!!!! Hee Hee J/K don't really have one.
How does your derby alter ego differ from your everyday persona?
I'm a dork on and off the rink, no alter ego that I know of.

What advice would you give someone who is thinking about joining roller derby?
Roller Derby changed my life, I try to get girls to join all the time, always talkin' about Derby!!!! =) It's a great way to forget about life's daily struggles for a little while, get some aggression out, and have a darn good time hangin' with the most fantastic girls on the planet!!!
