How did you come up with your name and number?

Just took the slang "it's the BOMB!" to the next level. The number reflects my dedication and consistency.

What made you first start roller derby, or how did you discover roller derby?

I've played roller hockey for years; heard there was a derby team starting at our local rink and it sounded like fun.  First time I watched a practice I felt intimidated...first sign of a good thing!

Why do you love roller derby so much?

I love how derby has challenged my physical abilities; its amazing to watch how everyone on the team, including myself, have improved. Also, getting to know such a diverse group of woman and learn to work as a team, has been tremendous!

How many hours per week do you practice?

At least 6 hrs per week.

What is your favorite drill?

No favorites.. : )

What is the most challenging part of roller derby?

Getting to the level of high endurance where you can be hit and knocked down, while jamming, and get up and still  pull off a good jam.

What are your non-derby hobbies?

I am an artist and an art instructor.  I work mostly in oil and clay.  I also enjoy gardening, cooking, and making homebrew. 

What’s your favorite piece of your roller derby wardrobe?

Cute short skirts or shorts. 

How does your derby alter ego differ from your everyday persona?

I think I'm pretty much the same off and on the track; aggressive, determined, and to the point. Oh, and a whole lot of fun!

What is a common misconception about roller derby?

That Derby is not a very organized sport... on the contrary!

What Position Do Play or Like to Play?

I play Jammer, and I also enjoy playing Pivot, or number 4, Jammer Assassin.

What advice would you give someone who is thinking about joining roller derby?

Dedication to training is imperative!  It won't happen over night but once you are in condition, it is a crazy and fun sport!
